Simon: It was like sort of going from karaoke hell into a breath of fresh air. That was original it was daring, it stood out by a mile. And this is the sign of a great potential artist. Someone who takes risks.

David Cook and his guitar. He’s not boring. I will give him that. I love the way he attempts different things. I really liked this. Pompous as he is. Look at him trying to seduce the camera. Shameless. But, I’d turn this song up if I heard it on the way to work. That’s all I’m looking for.

His brother, Adam, has brain cancer but flew in from Indiana for the show. Now David Cook is tearing up. And now I feel guilty for calling him pompous (although I do believe he has ego issues, but then again, which rocker doesn’t?? Or put another way, no ego HOW to become rockerla! love you man!)

But wait, before we go too far - are we sure no one else has done this arrangement before? Someone has to ask **evil laugh**
