Life is strange sometimes.

The weirdest things (bad or good) can befall upon us when we least expect them to.

That’s what happened to mua the past week anyway.

Last rainy Tuesday night, the first time I played ball after a looong looong time, less than 10 mins into the game, my right shoulder suddenly got ‘gatal’ and automatically slammed itself nicely onto the wall.

Oh mommy, such PAIN, I have NEVER felt.

Words CANNOT describe. Just cannot-lah.

For that brief moment, I reallyI thought I heard a snap.

Fast forward to the next day, I found myself in Assunta hospital, lying in bed beside one big ass dude who happily snored the night away like he OWNED the freakin’ room. Kanina.

Of course, me being the ever obliging fella never say anything-lah, kesian the dude also… he’s already been there for close to a week with God knows what disease…

But I’ve got to say the nurses there were just fabulouso, props to them, they were like the FRIENDLIEST, FUNNIEST, and most CARING nurses I’ve ever come across-lah.

Of course mua also had to ‘pretend’ like I was in ‘extra’ pain-lah so got a bit more attention and ‘lovin’ than my next-to-me ‘neighbour’-lah haha…

But at the same time also quite kesian-lah cos after a while, them nurses also too much-lah started to bully me, taking turns coming in to make fun of me… waitla wait… next time if I’m back there again, then MY turn to kacau lol…

Anyway it’s good to have friends who cared, who actually bothered to take time off their busy schedules to come out of the way to visit, to keep calling, and showed concern even though they knew it was nothing really serious…

But little did I know, lying in bed the second night with hours to burn suddenly got me reflecting, how lucky I am to be surrounded by GENUINELY GOOD people…

Two elder brothers who has ALWAYS supported me 110% all this while, when times were good, bad, so-so, they were ALWAYS there for me when I needed them…

Super cool best of the best of the best of the BEST friends who were ALWAYS there to lend their ears, to selflessly help out in any way they can without expecting anything in return, offering the all-important emotional support, sincerity and “closeness” $$ can NEVER buy…

Ex-bosses who are STILL very much interested to keep in touch, closely monitoring, mentoring, giving advice and guiding me every step of the way in my entrepreneurial journey, of whom have taken me in and treated me more like FAMILY than anything else…

A business partner whom I have EXCELLENT working chemistry, support system, in-tune future vision and “buddy-ness” with…

Parents who gave nothing but luurve and NEVER having questioned and second-guessed my every decision until now…

What more could a man ask for??

I’m just thankful…

Phew, almost wanted to cry there ekeke, anyway mushy stuff aside, it’s now well into the 2nd quarter of year ’08, with time quickly zooming by, the pressure to move up to the next level in our business is definitely on…

No doubt, there’s still a lot of ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ lingering here and there, but today is the day EVERYTHING became clear…

The DIRECTION is now clear as ever, and I now know what needs to be done…

“Dear Lord, blessed this road we travel…”

Halleluyah babeh.

Can only do whatever that needs to be done and only hope for the best right now…
