Wow.

Tonight’s American Idol was really somethin’, huh? It’s one of my FAVORITE shows to date (as I’m sure it’s to MANY others as well), but really, the performances tonight is something SUPER worth talkin’ in’t it… amazing!

Now based on my years of professional experience in critic-ing and ‘judging’ of people, I have a slight hunch that either David Archuleta (soothing, smooth voice, but somehow I feel he’s only strong on the slow songs. Don’t really like him that much-lah but based on the screams he’s getting from the chicks each week, OBVIOUS-LAH right?):

Or Carly Smithson might win it this year… (her rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Here You Come Again” was probably one of the most emotional songs she has done to date. Made me want to cry-lah *sob sob*. Did you? Lol. This “Irish girl” is the real deal go go go!! Eh, did you noticed that whenever she hits the high notes, she sounds a bit like Celine Dion-lah. But her voice is really DAMN POWER-lah especially when she’s singing songs from Heart… goosebumps man!):

Hey, but Michael John’s not too far behind either (but don’t know-lah, he can win-meh? Can get enough votes meh? Consistent enough meh?… guess we’ll just have to wait and see, likeable character no doubt)

Still, his performance tonight was HOT babeh!! Blue-sy to the max, that gggrrrr “roughness” to his voice… I love the way he does his “yeaaah” with the right head-turning and all, phew… reminds me of ever lovable, ‘drunky’ and quirky Taylor Hicks hehe (whatever happened to him man… really miss the guy)…

Oh yah, his performance last week of Queen’s “We Are The Champions”… also a home run, yes?

As for Brooke White? Neh. Not terra enough-lah she. Her best performance? Obviously when she did her ‘thang’ on the piano with Lennon’s “Let It Be”-lah, what else?:

That being said, my personal favorite is STILL David Cook (notice how he looks sooo much like Chris Daughtry now but with hair?) This guy’s really like his carbon copy only-lah, but I like him, he has that rocker’s edge, he’s original as hell, knows how to pick songs that are just right for his voice and style and he’s just… well… cool as ice!

My favorite performance of his? Definitely the time when he did “All Right Now”… I mean, come on, with the pick throwing and the rock-star calmed, relaxed, “I’m soooo gonna conquer Idol” vibe he’d shown that day… What’s not to like? Cool-ness lah bro, you the man!!

Aiyah whatever it is, I don’t think he’s mainstream enough to collect enough votes to win Idol this year, but who cares, he’s still gonna get a record deal and sell millions whether he wins it or not, so no worries there… I’ll still Torrent his music anyway hahaha…

As for the rest, can all go home-lah. Tak bolehla…
