The ‘Master’ FINALLY Settles Down…

Shocked…

Flabbergasted…

Amazed…

Out of the blue, I received a call today. It was from a dear friend. One of my best-est of friends actually; Ameer A, CLOWN of the universe.

“Bro, guess what? I’m getting engaged-lah…”

??!!

Holy smokes. Almost fell off my chair. I didn’t know what to say…

Me: “Woi, you SERIOUS ar?”
Him: “Fu^cker, bluff you for what? Nothing else better to do ar?”

After rounds of “oi sure or not?” and congrats at the same time, I was still stunned. But soooooo happy for my bro. I’ve never heared him talk about a girl like that. Usually after he gets his fair share of “jiggy-ness” with a girl, he’ll just move on to the next.

But this one was different.

Before I could say anything, he just kept rambling on and on and on (for 20 mins) about how great she was, how they met, bla, bla, bla (the usual)… (Someone in luuuurve-lah ekeke)

Why the shock?

Well, cos brother Ameer was always the pro-buaya… chick after chick, he’ll whack-lah, like DBKL.

One of the funniest stories I could never forget was how he once saw a babe on the road, tailed her for half an hour across KL, right until he reached a tol booth, got out of the car, asked her to wind down her window, and started his ‘buaya-ness’-lah hahahhaa…

This type of nonsense only he can dola…

But I’m happy for the guy. We went through hell and back together, stayed up til the wee mornings every single day, supposedly “studying” the market, trading and losing hell a lotta money in the currency markets together, double dated together, deprived of sleep together, got gila crazy together, want to suicide together haha.. you know… the I was there for him, he was there for me kinda’ thingy-lah…

The most unforgettable moments were the sorhai of the sorhai “tell people also don’t believe” things we did together scrambling up and down KL, Johor and Singapore together for well over 5 months, meeting ‘mandates’, money changers, more mandates, commercial bankers, etc as we were trying broker a billion dollar deal with fellow Datuks’ and Datins’ together (yes, BILLION!)….

To the point where we were sitting down in the office with both our gfs fantasizing and planning EXACTLY what we were going to buy when the deal was closed haha.

(All of us wanted to buy sooo many things, but the one thing we all agreed on was this):

ferrari enzo doors open

 Ferrari Enzo.

(Of course in the end, tak jadi-lah cher, if not means by now we’ll be sipping tea in sandy Hawaii-lah cher…)

Aiya, we were young and naive then-mah…

Still, it was brother-hood at its best :-)

Good times, no doubt.

It was a looooong time ago, yet it felt like it was only yesterday. Time really flies, huh?

Eh why-lah everyone getting married nowadays? In the last year alone, I’ve attended AT LEAST 9 weddings already-lah… why ar?

Looks like everyone’s  moving onward to another stage in life already, huh? Aiyo-yoooo… why time pass soooo fast one??

Oi oi who saw Chinese Serial - Drive of Life already? Dammmn cun show rite?? Addictive like hell hor?? Man, I love this song! (sorry-lah I know I slow):
