5 Foundation Pillars To Accelerating Your Business Online

Ok-lah, I realized that I’ve been messin’ around too much recently I think it’s about time we start getting back to some “serious” work, huh?

Discipline, discipline, discipline…

Now, if you’ve been online long enough, I’m sure you and the bazillion others have already watched Eban’s cool videos on his own unique system to building his gigantic 20M+ info publishing empire in just a little over 5-6 years (yo.. jealous-lah)

Yes, a 20M biz these days really is chicken feet when u compare it to the zillions that the brick and mortar ones out there are doing right now, drop in the bucket compared to them, yea.. of course!

But…

What’s really most impressive is the SPEED at which he grew, operating it all from his kuci rat condo with over 80+ virtual employees… (wahlane… I also want!)

What he shared in those videos, in tune with his “moving the free line” concepts, were like sooooooo simple, yet DEEP as hell!

To me, running, sustaining and growing an online biz used to be all about product creation, affiliate recruitment, pre-sell content, marketing content, sales letters, conversion rates, traffic, PPC, headlines, newsletters, seo, (the list goes on for 6 pages)… but when I first saw what he revealed that day… EVERYTHING changed.

The way he summed up his foundation pillars, I felt, was nothing short of PURE GENIUS-ITY! (sorry, engrish no good)…

So to commemorate his genius-ity-ness, I feel the sudden urge to post his “pillars” here to remind us all to ALWAYS not skew and keep in line with it (it has helped spur growth in mine since I started using it) and I know it will help you in YOURS too. So, all together now…

5 pillars

Waah, I’m feeing a bit “smarter” already, you leh?

Ok-lah, serious a bit… just in case you’ve missed the video:

1 – “You” = You as a person/leader. In order for your biz to grow, in order for your team members to look up to you, “you” as a person will have to grow and move on to the next level, like it or not, “you” as the key driver will be the one that’ll be setting the pace for them based on your DIRECTION, knowledge, inter-personal skills, management skills, etc.

2 – Your Market = Customer avatars ie. going DEEP into your customers, prospects, visitors minds on the psychology which drives them to take YOUR desired action eg. Buying your products, opting in to your newsletters, digesting your pre-sell pieces, giving their undivided attention & trust in you, etc…

3 – Your Marketing = The crux of your internet biz ie. The key business income drivers of your business which involves any form of marketing communication pieces you’ve put out on your sites to them…

4 – Your Team = Business strength is equivalent to the quality, strength of your team. (Mine’s currently 8 individuals in size, which means I have to super kiss their ass all the time haha.. joking-lah… I LOVE those bugers to death!) ;-)

5 – Your Systems = Your implemented automated/manual systems you’ve put in place to further drive sales to your sites.

It’s a POWERFUL mindset change from the usual ‘how to’ crap you see online these days, digest them well, habitualize these concepts within your operations, and I’ll be damned if it doesn’t bring your biz up to the next level ;-)

On the other hand, if you’re still in the course of building up your biz online, don’t be afraid to make mistakes and fail, they’re bound to happen and I’d like to say that it’s perfectly NORMAL for you to fail…

I’ve tested out HUNDREDS of ideas, concepts and failed myself, and I know how crappy it can feel sometimes, giving your heart and soul into it but seeing nothing in the end.

Trust me, making mistakes, failing and stumbling along the way is OK. Messing up (not only in your biz but in virtually any area of your life), it’s part of what makes us HUMAN. No one’s perfect. Not you, not me, not anybody.

The important thing is to not FALL and give up, instead, LEARN from those mistakes, analyze what went wrong, and REFINE those again.

I personally believe that every single time you mess up, as long as you can tell yourself with full conviction that “it’s ok, I’ll get it right the next time”, as long as you can immediately get right back up again (not sit and cry), keep at it, and stay FOCUSED on your goals, ‘it’ will eventually happen the way you want it to.

I really do. ;-)

PS - Ok, I won’t be blogging for a week or two, as we’ve just secured a new major JV (joint venture) and I super need to concentrate on that if not Dave will KILL me haha… so I’ll see you again in my next posting k… til then, stay tuned and stay frosty! ;-)
